椎體成形術 Spline Compression Fracture: Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty - Education Video
This 3D medical animation shows the normal anatomy of a vertebra in the spine. A compression type fracture of the vertebral body, a common complication of osteoporosis, is depicted. Two procedures to repair and stabilize a compression fracture are also shown: a vertebroplasty, bone cement is injected into the fractured bone; and a kyphoplasty, where a balloon tamp is inserted into the fractured bone to create a space that is then filled with cement.
