A Place where Heaven and Earth are said to Meet
This video was made in Bolivia in the Salar de Uyuni (烏尤尼鹽沼), a place where heaven and earth are said to meet. It turns out that for most of the year, the salar ( a natural open -air deposit of salt ), remains completely dry, but in the rainy season that comes with summer, the site can become flooded. When that happens, the salt flat becomes a kind of mirror that reflects the entire landscape seen on the ground. This is when heaven meets earth.
